About Us The Wisconsin Education Association Council promotes respect and support for quality public education. WEAC is a voice for its 98,000 members and for the 865,000 children in Wisconsin public schools. Members include Wisconsin public school teachers, counselors, library media specialists, education support professionals (secretaries, teachers aides, bus drivers, custodians, cooks), technical college faculty and support staff, retired members, university students studying to become educators, education and information professionals, and academic staff employees.
